1. The bill will provide full public financing for Supreme Court races. With the next campaign in the spring, this is timely. Impartial funding of Supreme Court elections is the only way to assure impartial justice. 2. This will demonstrate that the legislature can take some positive action on campaign finance reform. 3. Of all offices, the Supreme Court should be impartial and independent. For about 25 cents per eligible voter, we can achieve this. 4. The Impartial Justice Bill is a vital stepping stone toward government that is accountable to the citizens, not the big contributors. P.S.
