| The Wisconsin Ethics Board now provides an analysis of the lobbying
effort directed at the state budget bill during the first half of 1999.
For each of 99 budget topics provided by the Legislative Fiscal Bureau
the site displays:
-
the number of organizations trying to influence that topic
-
the total time that organizations devoted to affecting the budget's treatment
of that topic AND
-
an approximation of the total lobbying-related expenditures associated
with each budget topic.
The report is arranged by:
-
budget topic,
-
expenditures, and
-
hours spent trying to influence the legislature on each topic.
From the Ethics Board's website you may determine exactly which organizations
were lobbying on one of the topics listed.
