Green Bag Lunch Schedule

 

The lunches will be offered every fourth Friday of the month at the Milwaukee Environmental Consortium, located at 1845 N. Farwell Ave., Suite 100, Milwaukee.  Call (414)287-0207 ext 28 for directions if needed.  The discussions will begin at 12:15pm and last until approximately 1:00pm.  Lunch is not provided, but feel free to bring a lunch.

Clean Water Act- Citizen Involvement

Guest speaker, Jodi Habush Sinykin of Midwest Environmental Advocates, will be speaking to the group about the Clean Water Act and the importance of citizen involvement.

Recycling in Wisconsin

Jenna Kunde, Executive Director of WasteCap Wisconsin, will be speaking to the group about recycling issues in Wisconsin and the current WasteCap projects.

 

June 25th, 2004

Brownfield Issues in Milwaukee

Nancy Frank from UWM’s Urban Planning Department will address plans and projects to mitigate brownfield sites in Milwaukee for community benefit.

 

July 23rd, 2004

The Great Lakes Earth Institute

Howard Hinterther from GLEI will provide information about the institute and explain the programs it offers.
