The theme this year is WATER. While activities are planned throughout the week
of October 2-9, I am particularly hopeful that you can join us for “Fun on
the Fox” on Saturday October 9, 2004. This community festival will
take place along the Fox River from 10 am to 4 pm. Planned activities will
focus on children, families, and community, including introductory kayaking,
fishing, hands-on science, exhibits, music, and food. I hope that you will take
advantage of this excellent outreach opportunity. We have set very modest fees
for exhibition space at “Fun on the Fox” ($25 for an 8-ft table, $50 for a table
under a tent; indoor space has been reserved in case of poor weather), and we
can waive fees for hardship cases. Please contact me for details, or if you
would like me to help arrange sharing of exhibition space.
Please
let me know if you will be able to take part in these festivities. I would be
grateful if you could take the time to fill out the REGISTRATION FORM below so
that I can make arrangements for exhibition space. Please feel free to share
this invitation with other organizations and vendors.
I will send
updates with responses to frequently-asked questions. Please see the UW Oshkosh
website for campus maps (http://www.tts.uwosh.edu/parking/)
and directions (http://www.mio.uwosh.edu/gcc/location/index.html).
Sincerely,
Michael P. Lizotte
